The First Tibetan Buddhist Monastery to be established in the western world.
Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery is a popular destination with our guests as we can provide the accommodation for large groups to visit whilst still being affordable and be in close proximity to the monastery and the M74 motorway making the Well Road Centre a very convenient place to stay.

Annadale Way
The Devils Beeftub Walk.
The Well Road Centre is located in a prime spot for walking groups with many walks in the hills in the area. Two long distance routes pass through Moffat. The Annandale way and the Southern Upland Way. There are plenty of shorter waymarked walks in and around the town for all abilities.
The Devil's Beef Tub section of this walk involves steep climbs and rough terrain - be prepared! Find out more
